Do what I did and cut your cable TV entirely. If I really wanted to hear Hannity, I can pick him up on my Sirius/XM subscription. Or view his show on YouTube.

At the very least, take a vacation. We are headed into Labor Day weekend, a nice time to unplug for a while and savor the last days of true summer.

I pretty much stop watching TV over the past couple of years. It’s so predictable as to be both boring and irritating. It’s done wonders for my mental health.

I may get into the habit of watching no TV that has anything to do with politics. I won’t watch any of these shows until at least a few days after his funeral. Maybe by then I won’t return. Why should I care what any talking heads are saying about anything? I can go to web sites like Judicial Watch and sarahCarter.com if I want to find out what the few people worth following are saying.

In addition, we who read FreeRepublic. are better informed than almost any of them. Thank you again, Jim Robinson.
