I think Mueller is in that spot because Trump wanted to give his enemies a known place to camp out as they plan and execute their attacks. I believe Trump knew Mueller (and Comey, and a few others) were out to get him by all means possible.
No way is Mueller a white hat, that's been my view all along.
I dither a bit on Roesnstein. Initially thought he was clean (in dealing with Trump), but now I really doubt it.

I totally agree with this. And POTUS may very well have gotten the leverage to use against him from Q (or Admiral Rogers, or other white hats).
