I do this to help out Ransomnote to keep the Q threads from being banned.

I could but won't point out a few dozen forbidden ones you've missed.

Then you should have reported them. We all should be on the lookout for 8ch links and report them to keep the Q threads from being banned.

My recommendation is to either hit abuse on that post, yourself, or just drop it. Same for in the future. No need to announce it, discussion just creates (minor) distraction in the thread.

I make the post to allow the poster a chance to copy and repost the info without the link if they want to because some of the posts do include valuable information.

If the rule is so bloody clear to everybody, there is no need to remind people at the top of each thread, and there is no need to debate what the rule is.

I appreciate your admonition that I am not a good enough link cop, but I am going to continue to be derelict in that duty. Maybe you should turn me in.
