If impeachment is the goal via retake House (midterms), does it still not require a 2/3 vote in the Senate?

Yes, it does.

Here is a MSM article that shows how the Deep State is counting noses already. Of course McCain is dead, Flake is not coming back, and several others mentioned may or may not be in the next Congress, so this nose count isn't that accurate. But, it does still show you who they think are on their side.

I have my doubts about several called out in here, particularly Rand Paul. I don't think he would vote to convict on minor or bogus charges.

News-Weak, so not very well written. Impeachment happens with a simple majority in the House, conviction and removal with 2/3 in the Senate.
