It’s sad, but I’m not surprised.
Never again will I say “Yes Ma’am” or “Yes Sir” to anyone from the North. I’m tired of being treated poorly like a sub-par human merely for being polite.

LOL. Main character @ 10 o’clock looks like Al Bundy.

What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is going on here! Why would a kid be reprimanded for saying “Yes Ma'am” to a teacher? And why would any parent stand by an allow it to happen without immediately pulling their kid out of the school and possibly suing the school for abuse? Did I miss something? What Fresh Hell of Progressive Lunacy is this? You have black kids physically assaulting teachers in inner city schools and not being reported or disciplined but now saying “Ma'am” is some kind of punishable offense? I'd have my kid out of that asylum so fast it would make their pointed little heads spin. This is total MADNESS!

I found the same link. If it was one of the two with pictures, I wonder which one. My bet would be the one on the right.

It amazes me that the school in question is not in Berkeley, Calif., Boulder, Colo. Greenwich Village or Georgetown, DC but in rural North Carolina.

He does look exactly like Al Bundy.

I hope Drudge picks up the story. This needs a broad audience: Very shameful bullying and punishment of an innocent child by his teacher for simply responding with respectful behavior. The teacher and the school need to be exposed and condemned for allowing this bullying to occur.

This nation is cooked. The freaks control the media, the public schools, Hollywood, social media, etc. Unless we get the culture back by fighting instead of hiding, we lose.

Should have just replied "Hey bitch"
Whatever species this "teacher" is, it is not to be respected as a lady.

Reminds me of a bit in an old movie; Can’t remember which one, goes something like this:
Woman:(angrily) “Don’t call me Madam!”
Reply: “My apologies. I should have realized that you were just one of the Madam’s girls.”
To: trisham; Attention Surplus Disorder
He does look exactly like Al Bundy. There is a very sound, logical reason for that...

Yep. Not just children. It's extremely rude not too.
Weird thing is that this happened in Tarboro which is not at all like Charlotte or Raleigh. Tarboro area is not affluent, and it is far, far removed from any big city.
Was this a Negro school? From the names of the participants it could be.

Not nearly enough people have woken up to the fact that public schools are tantamount to child abuse.
There are far more egregious examples of abuse, mostly to boys, all over the country. Not to mention the lgbtq indoctrination and stealth teaching of islm.
Today it is borderline insane to send your kids to a public school.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
