Replaced by Steve Gaines who was killed in the plane crash (and is dead center in the album cover eerily enough).

I think that original cover would fetch some serious dough, after the crash they had to change the album cover.

I hate to sound like a ghoul, but there are plenty of times I’ve wished I’d have picked up a stack of copies of the original cover on LP, as I walked by it at Meijer immediately after the news hit.

Per Ebay looks like the original flames album cover are going for up to $50.

I remember selling mine for $10 around 1990 to a record shop.

I’ve got one and it’s not really worth more than you average old LP. They sold a ton of them before it was pulled. The inserts in the album are interesting. There is a tour of the states list there. Found out they would have played Houston on New Years eve with Dickie Betts “Great Southern” and Little Feat. That would have been one to remember
