Millions have woken up, even before Kate Steinle - that’s the central reason Trump has such a massive following (although not the only reason).

We’ve been jumping up and down; screaming from the rooftops since the Towers came down and nothing meaningful ever happens, as I’m sure you well know.

The rapes, the murders, the destruction of property, the poisoning of our culture through politics and the drug cartels are well documented and continue to be a problem.

Too many in power are paid handsomely to look the other way.

That is, ultimately, the only logical answer to the way the Republicans are acting.
They’re politicians. They’re aware of public sentiment because pandering to it is the only way they get reelected. Yet, in this case, they choose to be completely deaf to public sentiment. To me, this suggests that there’s something deeper guiding their (in)actions – and corruption seems like a good bet.

Except for a handful of good ones (or ones who pretend to be good), they’re as worthless and corrupt as our “justice” system.

It's not a question of millions waking up - polls have shown for decades that the American people are strongly opposed to illegal immigration. Our open borders are not the result of what the people of American want - they are the result of collusion by the "Big Agriculture/US Chamber of Commerce" branch of the GOP and the left-wing, neither of whom care very much what we want.

Does anyone remember Proposition 187? In 1994, the people of California voted overwhelmingly to prohibit illegals from using public schools, non-emergency health care and other social services in California. The case was challenged in court by the usual suspects and the courts ruled that California, as an individual state, had no right to enact it's own legislation to regulate immigration. It has to be done by the US government - we now have a Republican president and a Republican Congress, and we are still awaiting anything half as sweeping or effective from Washington as the people of California tried for in 1994.
