Yesterday Manafort's lawyer said to the press that Paul wanted to thank Judge Ellis for a fair trial. Hmmmm.
I am trusting these guys are likely playing for Trump's team.
The media having PMS over everything Trump says and does is the only card they have to play, try and win it in the court of public opinion. If they had any dirt on Trump, it would be carved on stone tablets outside the Supreme Court and Congress by now.

Cohen’s plea was negotiated way back in APRIL.
The timing is very curious. For Trump & co, I don’t think anything ‘new’ came out of this deal today. The offer is months old.
