POTUS has never telegraphed his intentions to the enemy. Remember the MOAB strike in Syria? So, why now? Why is he saying he MAY have to release the documents AT THE RIGHT TIME? Seems to me, it’s beyond time to reveal the truth of the corruption in the DOJ and CIA and the right time is TODAY. No warnings, no threats, just do it. This statement was just warm spit - not what I’ve come to expect of my President. Disappointing.

This time, POTUS was telegraphing his reasoning to We the People. The MSM has been wall-to-wall hatin’ on POTUS and they would pounce on any decision to release documents and portray it as a wild thrashing around to distract from the FAKE house-of-cards narrative they’ve built. He needed to get in front of the people and show his rational in-control demeanor in order to defuse that.
