The MSM reported that Michael Cohen can offer first hand information proving that Trump knew about the Russia Russia Russia meeting in Trump Tower before it occurred, and they assert Cohen said he was in Prague at some point useful to the MSM narrative.
Cohen’s lawyer, Lany Davis, emphatically refutes that story - first in an interview with Anderson and again with another - at one point clicking his claws on the desk to punctuate each of the words of his rebuttal as he states that Cohen does not have said information and was never in Prague. Anderson Cooper seemed to take the news hard.
But the story was never retracted or corrected by the MSM. The MSM continues to report it as if it were true. There’s a good clip of Kelly Ann Conway confronting Cuomo over this FAKE NEWS wherein Cuomo won’t let her speak but talks over her insisting that the president is a liar. (Conway clip is around the 17 minute mark and a bit more near the end of the video).
Apparently the MSM is now just attributing “facts” to players like Cohen as they need ‘em and is basically relying on hypnotic repetition to “sell” their story - with the expectation that the public will no longer believe Cohen himself, just the narrative needed.
NPR had an interview about 4 hours ago - I saw the introductory quote saying something like “Cohen’s stunning admission” when in fact Cohen is accusing Trump. It’s weird the way the reportage is trying to make it seem like Trump confessed to something when it was Cohen trying to implicate Trump.
Cue Moveon.org - they are organizing a nationwide protest UNITE FOR JUSTICE ON AUG. 26. Supposedly to take place in all 50 states “to demand that the Senate protect the ongoing special counsel investigation by rejecting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, who believes a president is above the law.” This latest protest move seems to further support Thomas Wictor’s excellent posts exposing the whole timing of Cohen/Manafort as a means of defeating the Supreme Court nomination.
Moveon.org provides a search feature where you can type in your zip code to locate the protests near you. Mine listed one intersection in one town in my county. Basically they are asserting that Trump is trying to get Kavanaugh on the SC to “choose his own jury” but then, that doesn’t make much sense....
