“A lot of places would kill for this historic building stock, but because of its location, no one will touch it.”
The historic Pullman neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side appears to be heading in this direction. I was shocked to see recently that there are foreclosures there and the neighborhood seems to be falling apart. Not that long ago it was a target location for people who wanted to restore a piece of history. Unfortunately, the areas next to it are gang infested and dangerous.
It’s a shame.
