"I thank God that, as a youth, my family was saved by Jesus Christ out from under the Roman Catholic Church."

Oh please. I have remained a faithful Catholic all my life and the vast majority of Priests have been heroic leaders of the faith. While I served in combat in Vietnam, it was the Catholic chaplains with us during the heaviest fighting.

You can go any direction you want to go with your faith but stop the anti-Catholic rants every time you think you have an opening.

I have no doubt that you have seen heroism and good things. I have Roman Catholic friends and family who have fine qualities. A Catholic Chaplain seeking God's protection in the trenches will not be turned away by Jesus Christ. But here is a question that I am asking others on this thread:

What would it take to show you that the Roman Catholic institution is thoroughly corrupt? How about the Pope praising Islam and bowing to Mecca? Or the Pope kissing the Koran? Pedophile priests going after little kids? The Roman institution forcing priests not to marry when God said it is not good for man to be alone? What?

First of all, thank-you for your service. Second there was a priest who died while serving in Vietnam and he became known as the “Grunt Padre” whose cause is being investigated.

Also thank-you for standing up for the faith.
