I’d agree that genetics has a lot to do with it, and that if you live long enough, you’re going to die of something. I don’t worry too much about what I eat, but try to stay fairly active. Am I capable of doing what I could 40 years ago? Hell no, but I do get through each day without (much) assistance.
Same here (and I knew you were being a little facetious). If I tried the same diet over a summer as I did when I was sixteen (having ballooned in weight after being sidelined from high school football and wrestling with one knee hyper-extended and the other dislocated to one side like a busted chicken leg) I’d probably be lucky to lose fifteen pounds. Exercise moderation in all things but try to enjoy the ride. Having noticed how perpetually angry most health nuts and vegans seem, I think I’ll take any of their advice a file it under “Probable Trash”.
