Ping to those who posted on thread last week regarding eco-terrorism committed by “The Family”.

Back in, I think, the early ‘80’s, animal rights terrorists broke into a CDC lab in Atlanta and set loose the animals. The lab was studying infectious diseases and some of the animals had been infected with deadly plagues. Fortunately, the animals probably died shortly after release and were not able to spread their diseases.
I couldn’t find that particular break-in, but when I googled it several other break-ins at research labs came up. These people are insane!

Interesting that the most experienced and knowledgeable of these terrorists committed suicide.
Don’t know his reasons but a dedicated terrorist would do it (or have it done to him) to protect higher ups.
Also interesting is that one terrorist in the cell was caught as he was trying to flee to Russia.
Another was sent back here from China.
And another is thought to be a fugitive overseas.
A couple involved in the WTO riots.
And one from Charlottesville, Virginia of all places.
Several with Canadian roots.
Very “internationalist” in outlook, not unexpected for a bunch of eco-communists.
