Ok if you can catch him grab his beak and blow in his mouth. Some feathers will pop out but the annoying hiccup sounds will stop. Just get your broom and stick the feathers in your hat band.

Thanks for the video. I grew up with pet owls, so I'm very familiar with their fearsome feather display (though not the "evil owl" trick!). I imagine puffed up owls were the inspiration for the Indian headdress (known as war bonnet on Wikipedia), even though the headdress is traditionally made from eagle feathers.
