Sounds good. Will they give us Baja?
As a strategist, Trump stands on the same level as Alexander, Ceser and Napoleon.
He is so far ahead of the Pygmy statesman this world has become accustomed to it is scary.
The man is a genius.
The Mexico upgrade deal on NAFTA, which is about to be announced... gets Mexico squared away and leaves Canada's P.M. to face Trump alone. Trump, being a dealmaker, seems to have gotten a better deal for U.S. companies and workers with Mexico, something extraordinary, given the negative rhetoric that has flowed over illegal immigrants from both sides of the border, and given the perception that Trump is anti-free trade. Well, no... With a Mexico deal in hand, Trump will be that much better placed to get the deal he wants from Canada. The LAT says the issues at stake are the U.S. need to get into the Canadian milk market and Canada's capacity to challenge U.S. anti-dumping claims in international courts. The other big one, not noted, is that Chinese manufacturers are skirting U.S. trade restrictions put on from their own failure to open their markets, by bringing goods into Canada and adding some minimal value, so as to get them labeled Canada goods.
The longer it takes Trudeau to deal, the less likely he is to survive politically. But there are things in there he'll refuse to agree to, making him look like the stonewaller. Want some more? C'mon back. Thanks simpson96.

Trump is about to teach Justin a good lesson.
Still winning.
Everything POTUS Trump is doing, or is attempting to do is exactly what he Campaigned on. Why is everyone so surprised?
“The other big one, not noted, is that Chinese manufacturers are skirting U.S. trade restrictions put on from their own failure to open their markets, by bringing goods into Canada and adding some minimal value, so as to get them labeled Canada goods. “
I understand that all goods imported to the U.S. from Mexico must have 70% local content. Do the same with Canada and that will take care of that game.
I remember being at a conference shortly after the election of DJT and there were a lot of associates and friends there from both sides of the border. The discussion of what impact the election of DJT would have on trade issues came up at an evening event of some sort
I remember suggesting something to the effect that so what you will have here at a future point is the scenario where a seasoned and hardnosed businessman is going up against a drama teacher. Who do you want to put your money on as coming out on top? I think that Canadians are starting to finally come around to that rather jolting realization
