Yes. The story indicates that they will be euthanized.
I will check back for updates on the victim. Being attacked at the age of 79 by three pit bulls may be fatal.
“3/4 of our town has a pickup truck parked out in front of the house. I have taught my family to get into the bed of the nearest truck and pound on the roof.”
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This makes a great deal of sense, and should probably be taught children and adults regularly.
Myself, I will now be more careful to look out for such vehicles upon a regular basis when walking. Thank you.
I see. Yes, quite an extreme difference. Now we have confirmation of the information.
Thank you for posting the links to the numbers for all to view.

Seriously?
We cannot control Asteroids.
We can control breeds and terrorists.
dang,
Your solution is to euthanize Spanky
20 million dogs
Maybe 50 million pit like dogs
Some here say kill their owners too
You folks are crazy and oh so statist
And then what
All big dogs....thatd what some here want
Only lap dogs
Rotts kill more folks proportionately I think..and I own two...on my home page
You gonna come kill my dogs and maybe me too
Make the world safer and all
As they say..Ill be waiting
Not one more penny
I had to sit up and roll a hundred pound lap Dobe [aka Devil Murder Dog] offa me to read this?
It was not worth the effort.
/covers back up with dog and goes to sleep
:D
Every single day, “mothers” kill about 3000 babies.
Statistically speaking, kids are safer around “pit bulls”.

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -
A Columbus man has to have his arms amputated after being attacked by three pit bulls.
Forty-two-year-old Dudley Willis says he was walking home from the store last week when he was mauled by three pit bulls belonging to one the neighbors on the corner of 38th Street and Earline Avenue.
He was left laying here in this area, just left laying out here. Nobody called for help or nothing. He was just left laying out here, says his sister Alycia Willis.
Alycia Willis says he was left there for an hour and twenty-five minutes before being taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital.
The hospital called us after he had a seven-hour surgery. He has been through six surgeries since Sunday, says Alycia Willis.
She received another one of those phone calls during the interview with News Leader 9. The doctors told her that both of her brothers arms will have to be amputated.
It kind of scares me, says neighbor Carson Layfield.
Neighbors say the dogs have been a common problem for close to a year now. Some of the kids in the neighborhood say they cant even walk to their bus stop without fear.
The dogs chased them up the street and theyre only 10 and 8 years old. Theyre scared to death, says area resident Josh Drysdale.
The family says animal control has taken the dogs and the owner has been arrested. Neighbors say there are other dogs belonging to that same owner that they say are just as dangerous.
Its been an ongoing situation. They chased my daughter. She is six years old. If that would have been her, if that wouldve been a child thats going through what my brother is going through, they would not have survived, says Alycia Willis.
The family of the victim says they will be taking legal action against the owner of the dogs. They say for now theyre just wishing their loved one a speedy recovery.
