The emails, first reported by The Hill last week, reveal Steele, a former British spy, kept in contact with Ohr even after the FBI cut ties with him as a source, with Steele continuing to send along information.
Ohr’s wife Nellie worked for Fusion GPS, which was hired by the Clinton campaign to compile the dossier of potentially damaging information against Trump. Jordan said the emails included both Ohrs, Steele and Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson.
“One of the interesting takeaways from those emails was just how close they were. ... It was like they were all best friends, and the number of times Bruce Ohr interacted with Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson,” said Jordan, adding he will ask Ohr about the communications at closed-door House committee hearings in two weeks.
Jordan said Ohr’s name “keeps coming up” in relation to the dossier and he appears to have been a “key player.”
Jordan said former FBI agent Peter Strzok admitted at a recent House hearing that the FBI was receiving parts of the dossier from Ohr, who has since been demoted by the Justice Department.
“It is never supposed to work that way in the United States of America, but it did,” said Jordan, emphasizing that the dossier was then used as the basis for a warrant to surveil the Trump campaign...

Or, seen from another angle, Donald’s people fired Andrew and Peter, drove Lisa to quit her job, and demoted Bruce because all of them kept asking questions about Vladimir, while Donald pilloried Nellie and Jill. Donald then called Omarosa a dog, and told John that he couldn’t see any more secrets.
Not quite clear? There will be chance to review, as more and more hearings are scheduled, and perhaps even a final test, with questions about bills of impeachment.
