We were there in 2016 and saw the pool. Now Im sick to my stomach about it.
I wondered at the time why anyone would build it. NC is a warm weather state so wouldnt you want the pool to be outside? Or even somewhere with windows? If its a location for child assault (and sacrifice) that would explain everything.
One more thing, we need to remember that Anderson Cooper formerly worked/interned for the CIA and is a Vanderbilt. Coincidence?

Is the implication that the pool at Biltmore in
post #688 is somehow tied in to the inset drawing? The drawing shows a pattern of blue tiles on the floor. Biltmore has none. Also, the loops of rope in the pool would only be useful or accessible when the pool is filled.
I'm not seeing the connection.

NC is a warm weather state so wouldnt you want the pool to be outside? It's warm now. Maybe not so much back in '89. A brief scan of the interwebs indicates the previous winter of 1888 was cold. They've also got a boiler in the basement that could've come out of the Titanic, so it probably did get chilly there.
