I think this is funny. both curious & hilarious.
Here’s Steele, he’s so proud of his memos (”dossier”) and all he’s done with F-I/D-J to take down Trump. He’s got the story down pat at that point, he’s told numerous folks in government and press. He’s so excited and ready to come in and tell the Mule the whole thing - he probably figures all those Clintonista lawyers will want to be in on it and lap up his tales.
But they don’t call. He’s sending messages and feelers and he never gets called. Ohr seems to start getting a little nervous too - he was expecting the same ... and seems a little uncomfortable pushing further like Mifsud / Halper pushing Papadopolous to bring up “Russia” things. It’s funny to contemplate ...
The funny thing is it still also fits the black hat angle, you have to figure at some point the black hats find out that Trump is on to them, if not at the time of the Admiral Rodgers Trump Tower meeting, soon after that. so I wonder if the distance the put Steele at was because they were good guys and no longer had a need for the black hat “source” or they were trying to cover their own azzes.
