I would think the city politicians of DC, being lefty Derps one and all, would be more motivated by hatred of Trump and a desire to not allow a military parade at all, then to acquiesce to him.
I just don't see how they would be any more susceptible to the Art of the Deal, or motivated to sell AFTER a period of time.
