Is anyone aware of an Xcel form for amortization that will calculate scheduled payments and adjust for actual payments? Especially over a 3 year term with balloon.
Thanks if you can
Can you give me a link to the template?
I think what you intend to do is pay different amounts on certain months, with a balloon at the end. That’s what my DYI does.
I’ll look at the template and re-read your post.
Don’t know how I’d do that, it downloaded when I clicked it under templates.
The thing seems to work (I can add extra payments per each month) but the blocks where you enter all the starting info will not move up as I arrow down to see the rows of data. So arrowing down only moves the bottom row.
That doesn’t do it.
Bookmark.
If I understand what you are saying, then the top row is locked. In 2013, it is under the VIEW tab, FREEZE PANES. If it isn't there in 2010, then search under unlock row or freeze panes, and it should come up with how to do what you want done, although I'm not sure why you would want to.
Well, 'cause when I arrow down, rows 1-16 don't move, so only the very bottom row scrolls.
Dooood! That fixed it!
OK. I thought it was only the top row locked. Having 16 locked does reduce the real estate.
Wait until you have to dig out and expose hidden cells in sheets sometime. Now, that’s a pain.
Thanks again
