I enjoyed the remake of Battlestar Galactica, but even as a fan, there were quite a few episodes which seemed to advance only the drama between characters without driving the plot forward.

Over 5 years they did 73 episodes which is quite a bit. I’d like to watch it again, but that’s a lot of material to have to go through. Someone should identify the critical plot episodes and publish that sequence, so people wanting to enjoy the plot can move along without having to view the fluff.

Bingo!

My wife and I got into Suits, but after a few seasons I told her it felt like a soap opera. I googled “Suits” and Soap opera and, whadayaknow, I’m not the only one. One site literally asked the quesiton, “When did suits turn into a soap opera?” The show did redeem itself by season 8, though. Lots of courtroom stuff and little soap opera. They must have been listening. :)

I couldn’t get over that asian chick in Battlestar Galactica that turned out to be a Cyborg. When you look at her complete physiology, as well as her ability to produce offspring, you realize that, for all intents and purposes, the cyborgs had created a fully human being. She was really not a cyborg at all. She was just a human. I could no longer suspend disbelief at that point.
