Actually, not an unattractive box of rocks.

I thought the same, but then I considered that the world she would make us live in would be Venezuela on steroids. So...she can go where the rest of them can go.

Yup, and the clueless press will still make fun of Sarah Palin each and every chance they get.
Sara’s far far smarter and more accomplished than the bimbo of the month will ever ve.

"Although in one sense she is a joke, ultimately she is still a real flesh and blood person, and I feel kind of sorry for her."Don't get too attached. When CW2 starts, these are the people you are going to have to shoot, before they shoot you.
They are too stupid to realize this, and they refuse to listen to their betters.

how the hell did she get into an ivy league schoolShe didn't. AOC went to Boston University, which is NOT ivy. It's ranked #37 in US News.
She didn't go to Boston College, which IS ivy. It's ranked #32.
She won 2nd in Microbiology in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in high school at Yorktown High School. (According to state test scores, 99% of students are at least proficient in math and 98% in reading.) No doubt this got her into a decent college. She did research in longevity at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
The secret to winning the ISEF is working with an expert in a hospital or university for the science part. For the political part of ISEF, it also doesn't hurt to be a woman. Nor does it hurt if you have an Hispanic sounding name. And probably being born in the Bronx (and later moved to Westchester) doesn't hurt.
With all that, she is a sure thing to have people throw all kinds of goodies her way to prove that the 'underdog' can win if she tries. She learned her politics early, but along the way, no one taught her common sense.
Kind of like obama.

So she doesn’t have staff or even one assistant that knows the ropes to tune on her for things like this? She is just a free spirit doing her own thing, learning as she goes- or not?

I asked this question a couple of days ago and got no answer. I'll try again...
Does anybody know how AOC is financing her life right now? Rent, gasoline and groceries do not stop just because you won a Congressional primary.
Who paid for her trip to HI? Hotel? Meals? Rental car?
Wonder if whoever paid feels ripped off 'cause AOC totally blew why she was there?
Also wonder if whoever is paying feels like they're getting a good deal?
