Like most fantasies, this one is almost complete B.S., with the tiniest grain of truth in it.
The reality was more like:
When white man find land, people starving most winters, always war with tribe next door, everybody shit next to teepee, people stink, no cloth, no bread, no guns, no horses, no cattle, no soap. Live short, dangerous, hungry, and hard.
Only liberals think that better than what we have now.
