No, I wasn't a grunt, but my son was. Unless they lowered the standards for her (meaning she passed all the physical requirements that men go through), I have no problem with her. I've worked with many strong women throughout my 35 year career. Every person is different. And the grunts shouldn't have to worry about the "me too" BS worries if they are decent men committed to doing their duty for a commander they respect. If they respect her (and she earns that respect) I see no issues. If they disrespect her on the sole basis that she is a woman, as you seem to be doing, that is a deficiency in their own character.
Pontificate all you want. In Israel and Russia, women were never more than a small number of support types such as snipers who could be left in defensive positions. And they never were used as main infantry.
After the war, the Red Army never used them again. The Israelis also only use them in support roles.
As for cops, when some MS13 comes to your door, you can lie all you want, but nobody hopes a girl cop comes to save you.
And you, call people internet armchair soldiers. You have no idea of the fighting men found on this and other threads. Your slander of enlisted men tell me all i need to know about the adversity you never faced.

Laughable. Anyone who has experienced a lot of women in the workplace knows that’s a joke. Adding women does not increase organization unless you are talking clerical work. And that same old saw comes out “pull a trigger as well as anyone else”. They truth is 2 years ago the USMC conducted an extensive blind study on this and found they are nowhere near as good.
Also, you have no combat experience, but it’s way more than pulling a trigger. It’s carrying a load that would embarrass a sherpa, digging constantly like a miner in rocky mountain soil. And carrying that heavy device that holds the trigger to the bad place. Only then do you get to pull it.

Don't worry, when the SAW a 1000 meters away needs 3000 rounds of 5.56, she'll order someone else to carry it or they can do without.

Oh, you’re one of those types who thinks the infantry is where you find gentlemanly behavior. Everyone looks like Thomas Magnum, and writes their mother a letter at night, and seeks the advice of the chaplain before they doze off.
And on liberty call, they like to find healthful activities like cultural tours, or volleyball tournaments. LOL

The lieutenant that goes out to the fireteam with ammo and decent MRE’s and actually checks conditions will get much more respect than a chick on the radio that is constantly asking ‘Hey, see anything yet?’.
Imagine if in the near future a man somehow had a uterus implanted in a freak anti-natural procedure and by hooking up to machinery was able to approximately gestate a fetus. And all anybody had to say was "so brave" "he's stepping up and ensuring the next generation" "he deserves respect." The feelings you'd get from that are akin to how these men who KNOW the reality of infantry and KNOW the reality of combat feel about this scrawny chick pretenting to lead an infantry platoon.
It's absurd, it's not natural, it's not right and it's not necessary. People will die because she can't carry them. People will have to lug extra because the one supposed to be leading them can't carry the same weight as them. To say nothing of the morale damage it will so to these warrior men to have a thin piping shrill female voice bawling them out. F this shit.
There are no women in combat roles in the Israeli military. They tried it and it was a dismal failure.

The Israeli army has 3 combat battalions including the Caracal battalion that are mostly or partly female.
They’re border guards, and they aren’t deployed in offensive combat roles.
Also, being a smarmy a*hole in your response tells me that you are "one of those types" who probably never got any respect when you were in the service, probably didn't rise very high because of your limited capabilities and will be an embittered and tortured soul for the rest of your life because of it since it was your only chance at success, and you haven't accomplished much since. If you can't have a respectful discussion and choose to insult people who are trying to have one with you, then you will receive it in kind from those who are smarter than you. Basic human compassion compels me to advise you that I believe that in your case that may be a demographic of significant size. Do not contact me again.
