What about those who wear no underwear at all under the Scottish kilt? Maximum sperm count?
Actually taking a long hot bath before sex is very effective birth control. There is a reason why testicles are always outside. Because sperms can not grow at body temperature, they need cooler temps. On cold winter days, the testicle sac shrinks and on warm days it expands. Nature knows best.
If you want your spouse to get pregnant, wear boxers. Heat is not good for sperm production.
Years ago I read a study about men who worked in pizza kitchens. Most of them had a very low sperm count because of the heat. They did a study to try to get them to wear a refrigerated device to keep their sperm cool. All the volunteers dropped out of the study within 3 days.

The hell they are! Nothing like getting your gonads sliced when the short pant leg of boxers get trapped under your leg when you shift your weight while seated. Definitely “nut cutting time.”
This has been known for years and years. The answer is quite simple: Briefs hold the testicles too close to the body. The testicles are outside of the body so that they will not assume body temperature. Spermatozoa need to be a bit cooler than body temperature. Boxers allow the testicles to assume the proper temperature for fertilization.
Why didn’t they ask me before they did this study?

There were were two times in which it was physically possible to get pregnant in the first two years of our marriage. I got pregnant both times. I was shocked, unprepared and overwhelmed. I mean really, what are the odds of that? I am still surprised and humbly grateful that God blessed us so quickly. And several times again. Even with briefs.
