Kidnapping that happens interstate is one of the things the FBI made its reputation on.
I knew that, I do not know exactly how they deal with parental abduction/kidnapping. They used to stay out if it was a family abduction situation and not a stranger. I know in some cases they do get involved in family abductions but not sure when they do or don’t.
