A great series, but you realize that is ONE book of MANY Bosch books. If you like Harry Bosch, look up the series and read them all, they are EXCELLENT reading by a top notch author. I have all of them on my Kindle.
Bosch (Harry Bosch) is a tough LA homicide detective. Special Forces Green Beret. He’s not completely rogue, but follows his own path and is like a dog with a bone who won’t let go. If you have Amazon Prime check it out. There are 4 seasons. You need to start at Season 1.10 episodes each
Best I can do is 3 episodes a night. Got toomuch to do around the house on the weekends for a few more weeks.
Yikes, I’m really out of the TV world.
I came here because I thought this was about dishwashers.
Pirate Bay
Bosch power tools are my first choice.
I didn’t know they also made TV episodes. I’ll have to check them out.
That’s funny. I heard them on the radio advertising Bosch dishwashers at Home Depot on my lunch today.
Don't feel bad, I thought it was about beer........
I’m trying to think back RE Amazon Prime series... “Tin Star” was good. “Fortitude” was as well. And “Patriot”...kinda strange, but I find myself hoping for a new season.
I won’t mention that you can get the Amazon Prime app for your phone. Nope, won’t say a word... ;-)
Yeah I got those on my watch list. Going to check out “the hand of God” next.
And no nice, neat happy ending. Just sort of stopped.
Yep, were on the third season out of five. Its a real sleeper.
Am a Bosch watcher, too. Tried Goliath and got only half-way through the first episode.
If you get Tubi-TV (app), check out City Homicide. It is a detective TV series from Australia (2007-2011 for 84 total episodes of about 44 minutes each). Tubi-TV does have commercial breaks, but they are short (5 to 20 seconds) and usually break only 2 or 3 times during a program.
According to Google search, City Homicide is also streaming on Hulu.
“Yes-I had read all of the books and loved the books-the TV series is good, but not great IMHO.”
not as good as the books, that’s for sure. nonetheless, heads and shoulders above Goliath, which is one of the worst shows I’ve ever attempted to watch ... Goliath looks like it was written by a pack of millennial high-school dropouts ...
I liked Season 1 of Goliath, gave up on Season 2.
.
My wife and I really enjoyed the first season of Goliath. We got halfway through the second episode of the second season and turned it off. All done.
I’m thinking of giving Bosch a try. I mean, he makes great spark plugs.
We watched every show in every season and liked all of the shows.
Bosch is one of the best noir detective stories ever. Love it.
I hope next season they give that actor more emotion to work with. With his scripts, he gets a full range from mild frustration to abject despair. I dont want him on antidepressants but hell. Let something go his way.
And it lets me live out my lifetime crush on my city which in real life is buried under the same emotions Bosch gets to portray. For good reason.
Favorite line from the show: the police chief (great actor btw) spitting out the star characters name like an epithet. A good Bosch. from the Chief is like a Seinfeld Hello, Newman.
