Marilyn McCoo was easily one of the best female singers of the 60s. She and Gladys Knight were my two favorites. That’s when female singers had distinctive voices with character. Now with the auto tune, PC tools post-production software it seems like most female act sound pretty much the same. I think the 5th Dimension music holds up very very well. That’s a feature of strong talent.
