WALTHAM, MASS. — An employee at an independently owned Verizon retailer has been fired after refusing service to an on-duty, uniformed Massachusetts police officer, Boston's WFXT reports.

Sources told WFXT that Waltham police Officer Dan Collins was refused service Tuesday at the Verizon store on Tower Road in Waltham.

The store is independently owned and operated by Cellular Sales.

Waltham police Detective Sgt. Timothy King said the company reached out to officer involved and apologized. The officer involved told the department he’s satisfied with the company’s response.

“As the matter has been resolved by the officer and the company, there will be no further comment at this time,” read a statement from King.

Yes they are unreachable, they act like spoiled children. That does not bring out the best in me...

Or before I retired I had a job where every morning someone would say...Don’t do anything that will get you/us on CNN.

Censorship afflicts all. It is worth noting that Fakebook CENSORS any mention of a website, www.CodeIsFreeSpeech.com that provides FREE downloads of 3D-printable firearm blueprints. And, since Facebook logins are so prevalent for posting commentary across the Internet, they are very effectively suppressing this “Forbidden knowledge”. Please go to the website, download some or all 10 of the free blueprints, and then, repost it to your friends and across the Internet, to the extent you can. Strike a BLOW against Fakebook and judicial CENSORSHIP! Support TWO amendments at once, the First and the Second!

Let’s see, can I guess the race of the employee? Maybe that is why the employee wasn’t named.

My son went into a Panera Bread and ordered Mac and Cheese, ending his order with “ . . . ma’am.”

The cashier retorted with “They!”

My son, confused, replied, “I’m sorry?”

“The pronoun you are looking for is ‘they’”

My son, confusion deepening, “I still do not understand what you are saying.”

“I don’t identify as a female, or a male.”

This took him aback a bit, so he thought about it a second.

“What outward indicator could you have displayed would have warned me about your gender status and spared me the humiliation of this exchange, when the only thing I wanted from you is to take my money in exchange for food?

Please, kindly, bring me my order and I’ll never buy anything from Panera ever again. I’m too hungry to stand on principle.”

I have had issues with employees at Cellular Sales, too. They aren’t “official” Verizon stores, yet Verizon lets them display the VZ logo and portray themselves as VZ. VZ is hurting their brand.
