It doesn’t seem to bother actor Peter Fonda that his insane lefty views are giving him a less than stellar reputation. Hot on the heels of scandalizing Barron Trump in a series of Twitter posts, the unhinged actor has taken to social media to advocate for illicit democrat voting tactics.
In a recently deleted tweet, (it seems the guy does have some sense of shame) Fonda suggested desperate tactics to generate liberal turnout in the upcoming midterms.
A fan, worried about inexperienced millennial voters dropping the ball during this election cycle, asked Fonda what he thought was the best method to get democrat results out of the younger generation.
Deborah White asked the actor, “@iamfonda Hi. I’m worried about the millenials voting.. Are they Trumpets or not. They say only 21 percent will vote. A holes really.”
The 78-year-old actor gave an eyebrow-raising response. Advocating that older and more rational voters force their views on millennial voters, Fonda stated:
Then we have to take them by the hand and lead them to the water and teach them to drink! If you have a millennial in your family, take their early ballots, fill them out and mail them in, or take the ballot to the voting place and give it to the officials… no more worrying!
Plenty of people who saw the tweet called the advice what it is: “voter fraud.” One Twitter user responded, saying, “Wow. Pete Fonda telling adults to take young adults’ ballots and fill it out for Democrats if they are not voting the way they want them to.”
Another responded, asking Donald Trump’s Twitter account for perspective. “Hi @realdonaldtrump. This sounds alot like voter fraud. Isn’t this a felony?”
Liberals complain about right-wing authoritarian threats to our democracy, but if it serves their purpose, it seems that this kind of heavy voter oversight is justified. And what about the liberal call to get the voting age lowered in order to advance the democratic campaign? Apparently, when push comes to shove, some Democrats don’t trust the youngsters either.
Lastly, is it even smart to consider Fonda’s guidelines for how to treat younger citizens? The last time Fonda had a minor blip on his fame radar, it was due to his desire to see Barron Trump thrown into a cage full of pedophiles.
