Alex Jones has been screaming about the pedophiles, child porn and child trafficking for years but has always been ridiculed. Now we have an administration doing something about it so they are going to have to shut down anyone that has been talking about it. David Zublick’s channel is gone too. You can still see a lot of his videos through other people’s channels. Jones, in his own fashion, has been yelling about ‘pedophiles running the world’ through a mega phone. Now with the removal of his channel, what they have done has pretty much validated the things he has been saying whether they realize it or not. He’s also a danger to them because he has more subscribers than their Joseph Goebbels network, CNN.

What’s the difference between a professional provocateur not being allowed to peddle his/her wares on a public platform and a talk show that has a screener that screens amateur provocateurs from getting on the air?

Well, that would be because the forums he was banned from advertise themselves as being "Open to the Public". Whats even more disturbing is that he was banned under the "Hate Speech" canard. This begs the question of who gets to decide what is hate speech. My guess is that Free Republic will soon fall under this category given the political leanings of most tech companies and service providers. Wont that be a hoot!

I think FR will ban on hate speech. Minimally moderate it.

To paraphrase the late, great Joe Sobran: “Hate speech is any speech liberals hate.”
