Of course not. By and large conservatives don’t hate people. They thoroughly disagree with your decisions, and your proposals, and your dreams for re-ordering/trashing society, but are generally willing to let you be, and/or are sympathetic to your mental illness.

C’mon Bruce... There are already laws that require equal treatment of men and women, but you apparently want a special law for transgenders.

We have to start reclaiming the language. It will be a long, tedious job. But it has to be done, civilly and persistently. If I were running a publication, for example, such stories might read, "Caitlyn Jenner, a female impersonator formerly known as "Bruce," said …." Or alternatively, just to mix it up, "Bruce Jenner, who legally changed his name to "Caitlyn" when he began posing as a woman, …."

Just do it. We don't have to play on their turf.
