Why now? Clearing the road of Conservative opposition out on the battlefield is why.

Let’s not look at each individual Nail Shop Incident, Marine Corp. recruiting office, Kirk, and Owens breakfast incidents, but look at the overall picture. They are making it seem as though nothing is safe out there for anyone singing “...our flag was still there”.

IF we are afraid to go out, and campaign then they are the only ones out their with a message. They believe their message of identity politics, hate, and BIG GOVERNMENT is going to win for them, as they accuse their opposition (us) of precisely whom they are.

IF we are going to campaign for what’s right for our country we have to be able to do so, therefore we have to somehow break the pipeline of funding to these rent-a-riot organizations such as Black Lives Matter, and others, or start seeing them jailed for extended periods of time for their lawbreaking.

Their right to peaceful assembly is the same as ours, but for some reason they get much more creative lawyers.

Again I ask, why now? Why the 1st week of August?

Consider this: 12% of the USA's population lives in CA. What's the number #1 priority issue on everyone's minds out here right now? I can assure you it isn't politics, regardless of whether the tech companies are located here or not. With fires consuming much of the state, the oppressive smoke and never ending heat wave, it's really the only news game in town.

So why the early August parlay? It seems to be foolishly premature, because it provides plenty of time for defensive responses, PLUS it rallies the base of patriots who are well aware of what is occurring. I mean, banning certain R politicians who are running for elective office? Really? Think about how poor those optics are for the 50% of the country that supports Trump.

So, something has to be afoot. My guess is the core intent isn't really to ban/suppress conservative speech (at least, not until they are truly ready), but to send a message to their base. In effect, it's a giant virtue signalling appeal to the left; maybe a show of confidence?

Anyway, there's a lot more to this than meets the eyes of casual observers.
