But isn’t it funny that it might not be secular people at all, but enemies in the Christian organization, that are the reason for this problem. Facebook itself, a secular organization, might be fairly innocent here, believe it or not. They don’t dig these problems. “Bunch of squabbling Catholics” might be how they see it. And deal out slaps on the wrist for the brouhaha.

Well, what happens when a faction walks out of a big established church hierarchy that has a lot of resources? The “gay” faction won’t seize the Vatican, that’s virtually sure. But they may seize individual congregations. Maybe something like “Rainbow Catholics” may appear, God forbid it does, but it could.

Universalists have a lot of ex-Catholics, but you don’t have to go far to find such congregations. San Francisco has some Catholic parishes that are indistinguishable from Universalism.

The current Pope didn’t help. He’s nearly to the left of that kook Spong. You remember that guy? Bishop Spong. Protestant, can’t remember the denomination.
