I guess that is the AAAWORST outcome possible....
Ultimately this may be a sign that Christians (and I speak in a pan-Christendom manner) need to commit what they’re doing more closely to the Lord. I believe a new spiritual season is coming in which the Lord will be bending close, looking for every possible believer. I haven’t gotten blocked, though I’ve gotten some catcalls and pushback.
Things that are church affairs might also not be the very best thing to air on a secular network. Though I know the problem. Corruption has gotten so bad and so rife in a particular area that it actually spills out into the world. Now that is the encyclopedia definition of a horrible witness. Francis should be wailing in sackcloth and ashes over this one, even if it didn’t begin on his watch.
Given there is a legitimate, full-blown schism within the Catholic Church right now, and you really cannot discuss it on FB, it follows that most religious discussion will not meet their community standards on the grounds they are divisive.
Pedophilia and sexual abuse are a massive problem in the Catholic Church at the moment. However, its a problem in many Christian churches period.
Who knows what’s coming, except that it will be like a thief in the night.
Continue to proclaim the Gospel. Eventually, we will be actively persecuted for it, here in the U.S., as is done in the rest of the world. We have a short window, of an unknown amount of time, to have the freedom to proclaim. The first century church met in caves and homes, and many were caught and tortured and killed, which, of course, is not uncommon in many parts of the world right now. Obama deliberately refused asylum to persecuted Christians. Pray without ceasing.
