It doesn’t work like that.
That’s like saying that NYC must allow free speech in public spaces, but some small town in Kansas can forbid it because there are plenty of alternative small towns to chose from.
Either the lunch counter is open to all anywhere there is a lunch counter, or not. It cant be a proportional thing.
Like I’m telling people, you cant go down this road with one eye closed, and think that you arn’t going to end up tripping.
You have a point. Because if one Big Tech company is forced to drop its standards, perhaps that law/rule could be used against any tech company, including FR. I wouldn't think that's likely. But who knows when the feds are involved.
So maybe any government action taken against Big Tech should be taken from a monopoly viewpoint, alone. And I do think that action should be at least considered.
As a conservative with a libertarian streak, I hate to have to say that. But monopoly control of information is a very dangerous thing.
