This was the first stretch of new barrier construction under the Trump Administration (Calexico, CA), and is still under construction. The see-through bollards allow for excellent surveillance and early warning, while their 30 foot height is a daunting passive deterrent. This new barrier is augmented with extensive patrol roads, lighting, cameras and more.
