I thought I read over the weekend they were discussing removing all of the stars? Very bad if they remove a sitting president. Boycott city and their businesses would be response?
Maybe they should instead take steps to protect them? Maybe throw in jail people that attack them? Charge and convict them of felonies. Leave them in jail.
If they go to the step of voting it off...I think a public declaration of avoiding ‘Hollywood-city’ ought to put up and we just boycott place. It seems like they also need to be sent a ‘message’.
Already voted, it’s gone - per Twitter.
I’d have replaced it with one having reactive armor.
Real reason: for being a conservative Republican.
I’m surprised his star hasn’t been removed already, the political climate being what it is.
Hollywood should be careful, once you start making ‘Purity Tests’ a prerequisite of having a star on that walk, you may find almost NOBODY qualifies.
If one is intent on finding dirt on anybody, they will find something that comes close to dirty. None of us is pure. In fact, I thought that very quality of excessive hedonism and always being the libertine was what set A STAR apart from us average ticket buyers.
We have been living vicariously through this Wild Bunch for decades, going all the way back to John Barrymore, Theda Bara and Hedy Lammar.
It’s just another way to disrespect Trump. Maybe they will remove a couple more stars like Bill Cosby’s to make it look legit. But nothing Trump did will even compare to what they did. Hollywood is a den of iniquity. They would have to remove half the stars on the street, just for starters.

Official: Bill Cosby’s Walk of Fame star will not be removed
Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has no plans to remove Walk of Fame stars amid sexual misconduct scandals
Amid the scandals surrounding celebrities like Kevin Spacey and Brett Ratner, both of whom have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Yahoo reached out to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to find out whether there are plans or internal discussions around potentially removing the stars for anyone who has been accused of sexual misconduct. A rep for the group referred Yahoo to a 2015 statement issued after a petition for the removal of Bill Cosbys star was circulated, saying its still their most recent statement on the subject.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has received inquiries asking whether we are planning to remove the stars of Walk of Famers because of alleged misconduct. The answer is no, said Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and CEO. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.
Several things: first, this is just an empty resolution by West Hollywood, which has no power over either Hollywood or the City of Los Angeles. Second, if they really want to perform their political cleansing of the Walk of Fame, they would need to remove a great many of the stars there - I think it would be instructive and enlightening for the nation to see how much of Hollywood’s past today’s leftist fanatics are willing to scrub away. Third, the Walk of Fame is a registered historical landmark - I doubt they could get away with removing any stars from it.
The city council reminds me of a bunch of 3 year olds: “I’ma gonna take my ball and go home!” Do you actually think Trump will lose any sleep over whether you remove his star, sleep with his star, defecate on his star, or pour Jello over it? You are so utterly childish that you think destroying a cheap metal doodad is gonna make a dent in his day. I do believe that you have quite the overrated opinion of yourselves, darlings!
Why antifa is allowed to break laws and engage in third world tactics...in my view antifa is terrorism, it's no wonder they cover their faces, they are common criminals who should be arrested, thrown in jail until such time as they go to trial.
America seems full of illiterates no matter whether they have a high school education or a college education, they are silly and stupid, showing a great lack of intelligence. Thanks in part to 40 years of liberal teaching, throwing God out of our schools etc. is greatly to blame for the utter lack of conscience and responsibility...a generation of Americans going no where...what else explains the why a bitter segment in this nation, does not respect a duly elected president. The crime scene for eight years under Obama made a lot of people rich and a lot of people lawless.
It’s a done deal. The West Hollyweirdos city council voted the star off by a 4-0 vote tonight.

Screw the walk of fame. Trump’s star will be rebuilt in a monument on the DC Mall where it belongs.
Good riddance if you ask me. It’s not like it’s Mt. Rushmore or anything important.
The shocker here is an admission that Hollywood has "values." Who knew?
So the celebs who endorsed Bill Clintons' treatment of women also get voted off? Right?
According to FEC Info, an Internet Web site (www.tray.com) that tracks federal political contributions, 176 individual donors actually contributed $10,000 or more to the lewinsky-era Clinton Legal Expense Trust fund through Dec 1999. Another 21 donors gave $10,000 in the first six months of 2000.
Thanks to Hollywood's generosity, a total of more than $2.2 million was raised in six months, which was notably more than was collected in funding during the previous four years of his presidencycombined. Hollywood producers and stars made up the bulk of the most generous givers. They included:
<><> Harvey Weinstein
<><> Universal Studios tycoon Lew Wasserman and his wife, Edith, who have given $60,000;
<><>DreamWorks trio Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg, $20,000 each;
<><> producer Ron Burkle and his wife, Janet, $40,000;
<><> producers Peg and Bud Yorkin, $30,000;
<><> TV producer Norman Lear, $20,000.
Entertainment celebrities and executives giving $10,000 included:
<><> singers Tony Bennett and Barbra Streisand;
<><> actors Michael Douglas and Tom Hanks;
<><> director Ron Howard; producer Gail Zappa;
<><>Black Entertainment Television founder Robert L. Johnson.
Trump will have much more named after him, in a lot of places. Who cares if one place in Hollywood is lost.
Kind of like taking an area with a lot of tenements and a few decent buildings and knocking down the decent structures to “purify” the area.....there goes the neighborhood.
How fascist of them. They think they are winning when they pull things like this. It just firms our resolve that the left is the enemy of liberty and America.
