That's not how it works. You can watch the videos 'free' (assuming you can watch them at all, technologically speaking.) The 'prices listed are the cryptocurrency that the video has supposedly earned through 'profit sharing'... Kind of like 'BitCoin' but called "Steem Dollars'.
The more people that view, "like" and recommend your video on D.Tube, or your Blog Post on the Steeemit site, the more money you supposedly make.
I have no technical issues, but I have trust issues.
Thanks for your explanation. It sounds plausible. If I can independently confirm it that will be great. In the meantime I’m going to refrain from clicking on something with a displayed price on it. It seems like lately I have to cancel or reset at least one payment method per month due to unauthorized charges showing up.
