Good dogs when controlled so that they don’t exert their powerful ability to maim, disfigure and kill other living things. Sad part is many many owners dont know how to control. Maybe a licensed bonded dog handler license is needed for people who want to have dogs with those capabilities. Like drivers license, resultant liability and car insurance. Or professional malpractice insurance.

That would curtail these insane calls to let anyone own a pit bull just “because I gots rights” . Would probably curtail a big part of the innocent killing and maiming
Yeah; let’s do that with guns, knives, straws, saran wrap, anything that has the potential to kill.
All that would be left in your home would be the furniture and then only if you could prove it could not be a weapon.
