Probably spilled while it was on fire by either the server or one of the guests.

This drink does sound delicious though. Might see if I can mix it myself sans the fire.

When cooking, these days I ignore the flambe' step, figure the alcohol will unfortunately evaporate anyway.

Never could taste the difference flamed or not, and I do not have to listen to my wife screaming about burning the house down..........

Still unclear why you would want to flambe' a drink and waste the good stuff............
