Increasing tolerance of hospital Enterococcus faecium to handwash alcohols
As compared to 50 years ago, the hospitals and personnel are dirty. I use bar soap and warm water.
I am a big fan of Colloidal Silver.
It works.
I spray it in my nose when I feel a cold coming on.
Works great for cuts, too.
And it is also fun to make, like a science experiment.
Well obviously you are not applying the hand sanitizer to your heart or digestive tract.
And there sure are a lot of common clods out there! (Some typos are to funny to resist!)
I only use hand sanitizer as a last resort. I’m actually one that doesn’t wash my hands 500 times a day, just when they feel really dirty or after the bathroom
In my job, I occasionally get to frequent porta-Potties. I sometimes keep a bottle of sanitizer in my truck.
I also camp a lot leading a youth adventure troop. We keep a big jug in the trailer and usually remember to have the boys use it before meals. Haven’t killed anyone yet by not doing so.
I’m a firm believer that the human body needs a certain level of bacteria and dirt to remain healthy.
The five second rule goes to 2 minutes when camping. There’s a big difference between bacteria and dirt.
My Dimension One hot tub had a Silver filter for the water. It virtually eliminated the need for Chlorine or Bromine to kill bacteria.
Anyone who had stayed awake for ninth-grade biology would have known this would eventually happen.
I quit shaking hands...except for CONTRACTS...in other words, I quit. I’m determined to change the culture here about greetings. I’d rather hug or kiss a strangers cheek than shake their hand.
They sting pretty bad sometimes.
Ha, love that:)
