Didn’t hear about this from the fake media.
Someone tell algore.
Likely there are fewer EPA workers defecating in hallways and elevators under the Trump admin.
And one would expect that fewer settling ponds next to gold mines will be emptied into rivers.
I wonder if the Media will report on the cleanup of that massive toxic spill into the Colorado River?? You know, the complete screwup by the Obama Admin EPA?? No? Really?
Why would a Democrat want to clean something? If they successfully clean it, it gets removed from the list.
This is the kind of stuff you need a federal EPA to take care of. CERCLA is the only way to deal with massive issues left by bankrupt companies and has worked well, extracting as much as possible from successor companies and using federal money to do what needs to be done sooner rather than waiting til it becomes much more costly. It’s a matter of focus and priorities, and efficiency.
Not only that, Trump’s EPA has NOT unplugged dams unleashing millions of tons of highly toxic sludge into once-pristine rivers. Obama killed entire rivers. Trump protects them.
Simple competence vs. gross incompetence.
