There are no reputable stats on the average age of death of “gay” men or women. Any age reported is like picking a number out of a hat. Why? Deaths are not reported as “gay” or “straight”.
If you have stats, present them.
As I have said, more than once. Deaths are not reported anywhere as “gay” or “straight” so true actuaries know there is no reliable data on the general “gay” population mortality. Mortality on specific conditions, like those with an HIV infection, yes, some, but they are not fully translatable to the total “gay” population.
You fail to realize the issue is not whether more “gay” men than “straight” men have/will likely engage in risky behavior from which they could obtain a medical problem - like an HIV infection - that will affect their mortality.
THAT general matter is not in question.
However, what is in question is any known rate of mortality for the total “gay” population. The best true actuaries cannot tell you what it is.
