Sorry. Any paper that cites figures and does not cite the sources for the figures is not considereed truly scientific or reputable, whether or not it agrees with anyone’s preconceived opinions. That is the biggest problem with a good many such papers. There are accepted without question because they “sound right” in terms of what a reader expected. That does not make them accurate. Our suspicions alone do not make facts.
Many of you think that just because it is known that “gay” male sexual behavior can lead to greater risk of medical conditions automatically means there is some bonifed data as to mortality of “gay” men. In as much as deaths are not recorded as “gay” or “straight” there is no such reputable data that identifies average ages of death of “gay” persons.
That fact, not the general heath issue is the issue. That fact - the absence of accurate mortality data, is my point.
Bad information does not a good argument make.
