I’m 65 and no longer get carded, but I did until I was well into my 40’s.

Same here. The gray hair (especially on the beard) is a giveaway, LOL.

However, I have come across a few businesses which have a "No exceptions" policy for carding. They'd card Methuselah - assuming he had ID. :0)

That happened to me at a Kroger in Atlanta last September. They were swamped, I was going through self check-out and attendant had to drop everything to check me out.

More recently, here in Michigan, I was at a Speedway and the clerk was a young woman shaped like a large pear. She asked for my ID and I said I had no problem with it as long as she wasn’t going to slide it through the register. She said she had to slide it, when I asked why, she said she had to make make sure my license was valid. Of course it was and I certainly was impaired in no way; she was just being an officious grade AAA+ bitch. I don’t think she’s there anymore.
