My sentiments exactly! I have lived within 25 miles of the NC Coast most of my life and continuously since 1978. You would not ever find me more than knee deep in the surf. The ocean is beautiful to look at, but deadly! So thankful he is going to be okay!
Yes, the beach along NC coast is in most places ideal for walking, just sitting out and looking at it, hearing the ocean waves at night, some fishing, etc. But especially this summer, not so good for being in the ocean. And, yes, so thankful this gentleman is okay. He had a very close call.
