You are totally misunderstanding. I have no need to do back and forth with you on this. I was and remain strongly in favor of the meeting with Kim, notwithstanding MSM phony claims that it would legitimize NK. I have not expressed opposition to Trump meeting with Rouhani, but I did express a concern that it could deflate a little bit those who are out in the streets and/or plotting to get rid of the existing regime. That concern seems to have triggered you. Better find a safe place.
The mullahs are not like the NORKs. They will never give up on their desire to destroy Israel or to extend their influence across the middle east to the Mediterranean. They are fanatics about their cult. Where Kim can be tempted by the chance to make his country prosperous at expense of his nukes, the Iranian regime will not give up their ambitions. At best, they will hide them for a time. They spent 700 years trying to get Constantinople, coming back time after time, but they got it done. They have a word for it, I think it’s hudna, where they accept a truce because they are weak in order to be able to come back and try again when they are strong. Leave them in place with a truce and they will come back.
We can live with Kim after he gives up his nukes; I don’t want to live with the Islamic Republic, I want it ended. I think Trump does, too. He has signaled support for the demonstrations, unlike Obama. Any negotiations we have with them should be to give them that golden bridge out of Iran, not to give them relief from sanctions. If they leave, they can keep the money they have stolen from their own people. Take that deal now, or you will still lose, and end up with nothing, maybe not even your lives.
Yes again, your concerns are noted.
I don’t need a safe space, after all I’m not the one wringing my hands and clutching my pearls over hypotheticals posited by the MSM and repeatedly proven wrong by POTUS.
